"I can't find support that addresses what's actually happening in our home."
"I'm taking care of everyone. But no one is taking care of me."
"I'm a caregiver. But I used to be so much more."
"It's time to get out of the recliner, turn off the TV, and get back to the kitchen table — where life actually happens."
— Marguerite Wolf, MSOT · Founder, KARE For Homes
THE FRAMEWORK
A real-life approach to caregiving in real homes
Know what's happening · Assess what's real · Re-engage in life · Empower everyone involved
K
Knowledge
Stop guessing. Understand what's really happening — the diagnosis, what's ahead, and what support actually exists.
A
Assessment
Look at what's happening right now in your home — safety, function, your own capacity. Ongoing, not a one-time checklist.
R
Re-engagement
Caregiving isn't just keeping someone safe — it's helping both of you keep living. Bring life back into the home.
E
Empowerment
Build confidence and a care plan that works for your whole household — not just the person being cared for.
ABOUT KARE FOR HOMES
Meet Marguerite
With over 30 years as an Occupational Therapy Practitioner — including 20 years supporting families in their homes and nearly a decade leading a subacute rehab department — I know what sustainable caregiving actually looks like in practice.

But I also know it from the inside. As a lifelong caregiver myself, I understand the emotional and physical toll this journey takes on you.

That's why I created the K.A.R.E. Framework — a structured but flexible approach that helps families build care plans that actually work, restore balance, and feel empowered again.

I look forward to being a part of your journey.
Marguerite
You are a caregiver. AND so much more.
This is where you stop surviving caregiving and start living through it.
